Capturing your family as you are
I know that being in front of the camera can feel a little daunting, and preparing for a photoshoot with children can sometimes feel a bit chaotic! That's why I do everything I can to make the experience feel as relaxed and enjoyable as possible from the very beginning. Before your session, I'll guide you through everything you need, from outfit advice and location suggestions to answering any questions you may have, so you can feel confident and prepared. When it comes to the session itself, there's absolutely no pressure to pose perfectly. I'll gently guide you when needed, but my focus is on capturing your family just as you are- laughing, cuddling, playing, and simply being together. We'll follow your children's lead, play their favourite music and games, and of course, snacks are always welcome (the more, the better!).

I’ll guide you throughout the shoot when needed, but there’s no pressure for everyone to pose perfectly and stand still.

Telling your story
I love to capture not just the moments of your session, but your story at this point in your life. I focus on the little details that make your story uniquely yours. If you have any special or meaningful items in your home that you'd like to include, I'm always happy to incorporate them into your session to add a personal touch and help tell your story.
Photos delivery
Planning your session
Send me a message via my contact page so we can confirm a date and time for your session and discuss the details. From there, we’ll pick a location that works best and start preparing for the photoshoot.
Session day
If your shoot is on location, I recommend arriving 10-15 minutes earlier. We’ll spend some time chatting or having snacks to help everyone feel relaxed and ready to go. If your shoot is at home, spend some time having some coffee and snacks beforehand, and I'll come to you! It will be a fun, easy, and lovely day.
Editing and selection
One to two weeks after the session you’ll receive an email from me with an invitation to view your photos in a private beautiful online gallery. I will also send you a PIN code to use for downloading the photos.
Preparing for your session
Sessions always feel the most natural when you come as yourselves. Here are a few tips to help things feel relaxed and stress-free.
- Soft, neutral tones and coordinating colours tend to photograph beautifully, however, it is most important to choose outfits that feel confident, comfortable and reflect your family's personality
- Focus on coordinating rather than perfectly matching outfits
- Give yourself extra time before the session so things feel relaxed and not rushed
- Don’t stress if your children need breaks, we’ll follow their pace
- Feel free to bring snacks, comfort items, or favourite toys along (please bear in mind that any comfort items or toys may feature in the photos)
- I love to incorporate sentimental or meaningful items into your session, so think beforehand about anything you'd like to include
- Don’t worry about posing or perfection, I’ll guide you throughout the session
